In 2024 Poole Sailability developed a new 4 year plan that can be seen here.

1. This was principally due to the concerns over the long term future of the previous base for our activities at Rockley Park. We relocated to Poole Yacht CLub in 2026. The process started with a review of the wider national and operating environment for Poole Sailability looking at trends for the future in the political, economic, social, technical, legal and environmental areas.

A questionnaire survey of members, user groups, and key organisations took place yielding some very interesting results.

This led to the development of a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats analysis, leading to a set of actions and recommendations for the next 4 years, marshalled under 7 strategic aims. This was approved by trustees, then members at the AGM in January 2025.

As part of this process Poole Sailability also established its vision, mission and values to drive everything we do.

The trustees allocated responsibilities and time frames for all the actions in the forward plan and will be monitoring progress regularly.
