Newsletters
A number of newsletters with updates are emailed out to members with key information about Poole Sailability for members, and volunteers. As well as having coffee etc after a sailing session at Rockley, we also have a range of well attended social activities, like an end of season meal and awards event, fish and chip suppers, a mid-winter lunch, and more informal gatherings at local pubs. We also enter a team once a month in Parkstone Yacht Clubs Monday quiz in the Winter.
Membership
The annual membership contribution is currently £50 which helps cover our overall expenses and personal costs (e.g. lifejackets) for all and provides insurance for everyone. How to pay is indicated in our Members’ guide to payments. Becoming a member also allows you to attend social events and receive the newsletters. Occasionally we organise sailing and social events at other local sailing clubs, notably Parkstone Yacht Club Cruising Fleet who take our members out in the harbour and beyond on their own vessels on "Big Boat Days".
